ROCKVILLE, MD—June 3, 2011—iControl Systems USA, LLC, a leading provider of supply chain visibility and collaboration solutions to retailers, is pleased to announce the addition of Robert (Rob) Jackson to the senior management of the company, effective June 13, 2011.
During his tenure at Dow Jones, Rob was asked to relocate to different regions of the country where change was required to compete in a declining business environment. In 2005, Rob was named as one of the top 25 leaders at Dow Jones based on his ability to lead large regional and national management teams.
Rob, a graduate of Hampton University, is married to Kim, a school principal. They have four children. Despite a very busy professional schedule, Rob has found time to give back to his community by coaching youth football. The Jackson family will be relocating to Maryland, where iControl is headquartered.
“It’s a genuine pleasure and a privilege to bring an executive as accomplished and experienced as Rob into our company” said Tal J. Zlotnitsky, iControl’s CEO. “From his senior perch at Dow Jones and News Corp, Rob had the opportunity to observe and evaluate iControl from the outside since the very beginning. He has seen us work incredibly hard in order to get the business model right, and was never hesitant to challenge us to work harder and get better. But as much as I’ve learned from Rob over the years about business, I’ve learned just as much from him about being a great father and balancing work/life. Rob is not just a proven leader; he is also a remarkable person that I’m gratified and proud to call my friend.”
"I am tremendously excited to join a team with thoughtful, creative, visionary leadership," said Mr. Jackson. “I have admired the Zlotnitsky brothers for over 15 years, watching them take their business from a small enterprise to a company that ultimately received recognition as the best in the business in 2007, receiving national awards from The Wall Street Journal and Financial Times.
