In our value system, we reject the notion that SBT must by definition result in one party gaining at the expense of the other. We are skeptical about the notion of leverage being used as a weapon – by any supply chain partner. We believe that any relationship that isn't built on mutual respect and reciprocity, cannot be sustained.
iControl's aim is to position our retail partners to achieve the benefits of Scan-Based-Trading through our program's tested and proven track record of increasing scanning accuracy, providing transparency and ensuring accountability.
We believe that while SBT - and iControl as a facilitator of SBT - has identified and will continue to identify and eliminate inefficient or dishonest suppliers, it provides terrific opportunities for progressive and proactive suppliers to increase their business with our clients.
